Thank you for your application and thanks also for clarifying your visa status in terms of your application. It was nice to talk to you (albeit briefly!) the other day.

Unfortunately I must advise that on this occasion, your application has not been successful.  We were fortunate to have a very strong pool of candidates for this role, a number of whom have commissioning experience and greater regional knowledge of Italy and Malta than yourself.  This was the main reason we chose to not pursue your application further on this occasion.
